When can you apply for an extension of your residence permit in Slovakia❓
It is worth worrying about the extension of your residence permit in advance. For example, on the Easter holidays (April 7, 9, and 10), the police rest. There are also force majeure events – remember the Covid-19 outbreak.

What is the official deadline?
📍 You can apply for an extension no earlier than 6 months before your current residence permit expires at the Alien Police Station.
📍 And, of course, you must do so no later than the last day of your current residence permit.
