Entry and vaccination regulations in Slovakia are constantly changing. Therefore, sometimes there is confusion 🤦♂️

✅ According to the new rules from July 9th. If you are arriving by plane from Ukraine, you do not need to present a test. But the rest of the rules will be relevant for you. If you are not fully vaccinated, then you need to register on the site and either sit in quarantine for 14 days, or leave quarantine by passing the test on day 5 and receiving a negative result.
✅ It is not yet possible to enter Slovakia with a Schengen visa. But, if you do not have permanent residence, residence permit or citizenship in Slovakia / EU, you can use visa D for entry.
✅ There are many vaccination stations in Slovakia. You can choose your area when registering on the website korona.gov.sk. The specific address will be sent to you via SMS and e-mail. mail when it’s your turn to get vaccinated.
✅ Friends, we remind you that now in Slovakia you can get vaccinated, even with commercial insurance. You can register on the website korona.gov.sk and wait for your term. But now there are vaccination points, where they sometimes vaccinate without a term, and without state insurance, in a live turn.
✅ While vaccination is possible only for foreigners with a residence permit, permanent residence or citizenship in Slovakia. It’s free. But gradually the possibilities are expanding. Perhaps, over time, some kind of paid option will appear for foreigners who have only a visa.
