Slovakia’s well-developed health and social insurance system provides a guarantee of security even in such a difficult period as nowadays ![]()
The pandemic has been paid out in response to the pandemic:
<
> more than 32 million euros to tenants and the unemployed,
<
> 50 million euros for bonuses to doctors, police officers, social workers who fought and continue to fight the pandemic.
Tax burdens on entrepreneurs have been pushed back and all conditions have been created to preserve small and medium-sized businesses, which have suffered the most ![]()
Of course, the challenging conditions amidst the COVID-19 invasion will have a negative impact on social and health contributions for 2021.
Minimum social security contributions will rise from 167.89 € per month to 180.99 €.
Minimum medical contributions from 70.91 € per month to 76.44 €.
Of course, the increase in such regular spending is not particularly pleasant. But with the whole pandemic situation, it’s also called ‘getting off with less blood’. And you know you can count on government support.
By the way, we remind you that if you have residence permit, residence permit or citizenship in Slovakia + employment contract, your insurance is paid by your employer.
