Railroads are quite a popular mode of transportation in Slovakia 
And the renewal of the car fleet will probably also play in favor of choosing this mode of travel.
Trains run once an hour in most directions, more frequently in areas of major cities.

Renewal of the locomotive and car fleet is already planned for the lines in the Trenčín and Žilina regions. The old trains will gradually be replaced by 25 modern electric trains. 2 new electric trains have already been in service since December 1.
Updates on international destinations are also planned.
The Budapest – Bratislava – Warsaw route is to be extended to Brest (Belarus). In Brest, it will be possible to change trains to Minsk and Moscow.
There are plans to run a direct train from Bratislava to Mürzsuslag (Austria). This is an Austrian town in the Schneeberg Alps. The train will pass through Semmering and Spital am Semmering. Which means that we will have direct access to the ski resorts of Austria

Such changes can’t help but make me happy! I’m already looking forward to traveling
