Back in 2019 Slovakia announced the prioritization of IT development 
An entire strategy was created to introduce and improve new developments in this field.
Now there are about 120 IT companies in Slovakia. Among them you can even find such giants as IBM.
According to the plans, by 2030 we will be in for a real intellectual revolution 
And these are not unsubstantiated promises. The authorities have chosen several points of application at once to implement their plans.
Creating attractive conditions for investment growth and business development:
– VAT refund, small profit tax (22%, when in the same Austria 38.33%)
– tax incentives,
– exemption of outgoing and incoming dividends from taxation,
– absence of double taxation (for a number of countries),
– simple European-style reporting system.
Interesting offers for startups:
– government subsidies,
– individual tax solutions,
– a loyal system of state lending,
– the possibility of obtaining visas and residence permits on special terms.
Attraction of foreign specialists:
– possibility of obtaining a residence permit under a simplified scheme,
– high salaries,
– opportunity to work in major European companies.
Emphasis on the development of IT fields in Slovak universities:
– free tuition upon successful passing of exams,
– cooperation with IT corporations,
– opportunity to find a highly paid and prestigious job after graduation.
