Is it expensive to rent a flat in Slovakia? 
Of course, the prices vary quite a bit. It will be more expensive to rent a flat in the centre of Bratislava than in the outskirts of Prešov. The neighbourhood, equipment, renovation, size and age of the flat also play a role.
But you have to have something to guide you. Therefore, we will share the average prices for renting flats in Slovakia.
For example, rents for a 1-bedroom flat in the city centre range from €334 to €700, averaging around €450 – €500.
If we are talking about a similar flat outside the centre, the price tag usually ranges between 260 – 500 €
Renting a 3-bedroom flat in the city centre already starts from 500 € and up, averaging around 765 €.
The cost of a 3 bedroom accommodation outside the centre ranges from 360€ to 900€.
Most often the rent already includes utilities, but there are cases when you have to pay them separately.
When renting, a contract must be drawn up and a deposit paid (usually in the form of one month’s rent)
