Новые меры против COVID-19 в Словакии

‘When will it finally end?!’ – This is probably the question everyone asked last year, regardless of age, gender or nationality 😔

And unfortunately, so far, all the coronavirus issues have migrated into 2021 as well.

We have again seen an increase in the number of people falling ill with Covid-19 📈 Perhaps the preparation for the holidays played a role in this.

Therefore, the Slovak government was forced to take tougher measures.

🔹 Lockdown extended to 24 January, new curfew conditions unveiled.

What else was affected by the January restrictions?

– Ski resorts, ski sales and rental services are closing.
– Hotels are prohibited from accepting new guests.
– Sports and outdoor activities are limited to the okres.
– Conducting worship services is also prohibited. Baptism, weddings and funerals are limited to 6 people.
– Walking with animals is possible up to 1 km from the residence.
– Travel to holiday destinations, resorts is prohibited.
– Visiting another family is also forbidden (we are talking about people, even if they are relatives, who do not live with you).

🔹 It is recommended to switch to remote work if possible, to transfer all communication to the remote format.

🔹 Hospitals in Slovakia have been forced to switch to emergency care only. The only exceptions will be oncology patients requiring dialysis or biological treatment. The vacated places will be allocated for patients with coronavirus.

🔹 The question of schoolchildren and students is still open. But we think that in the near future we will learn more details about this issue as well.

🤦‍♂️So when will it finally end? No one has the answer to that question yet < image > We can only support each other and hope that 2021 will not be the continuation of this endless pandemic.
