In Slovakia, the dates of spring school vacation vary greatly from region to region. Why this applies only to spring vacation❓If your child is in school, you probably already know the answer 😉
The fact is that ski resorts are very popular in the country. And they are popular not only among adults but also among children. There are special slopes, and children’s instructors are engaged with children.
⛷️ Schools often organize trips to ski resorts themselves. Family vacations with sledding, skiing, and snowboarding are also popular.
In order to relieve the pressure on the ski slopes during spring vacation, it was decided to let children go on vacation at different times 🗓️ For example, in Banskobistrice, Žilina, and Trenčín regions, the vacation will soon be over. In the Košice and Prešov regions they will just start.
So sport in Slovakia determines even the time of school vacations ☺️.
