Replacing a driving license from Slovakia

In Slovakia, foreign citizens who have a temporary or permanent residence permit (TRP or PR) are required to replace their national driving licenses with Slovak ones. According to the law, after receiving a TRP or PR, you must live in the country for at least 185 days, after which you must apply for an exchange of your driving license within the next 60 days. Failure to comply with these deadlines may result in the foreign driving license being declared invalid in Slovakia.
